HTMASC HTML Converter v1.2

Open up a Web .htm file with HTMASC, and you can instantly convert it to a .txt file, with all the HTML tags stripped from the original. It can properly read past JavaScript, and convert special characters (entities) to their ASCII equivalent. HTMASC gives you a two-window view of the original file and its conversion, so you can search or cut-and-paste from the converted file. An optional feature tells HTMASC to preserve the URL links it finds, allowing you to easily retrieve addresses from lengthy 'pointer' files. This is a useful tool for any active surfer!

NetBuddy v1.0

NetBuddy helps you to keep track of page changes on the World Wide Web. It can read a BOOKMARK.HTM file (from Netscape or compatible) and automatically check all pages listed within it for changes since you last visited the site. It's a fast way to monitor pages that seldom change--but you want to know about it when they do. NetBuddy displays a list of revised pages, which you can link to your browser for rapid access. OUI Message Reader v1.50

It may be 'yes' in French, but here 'oui' means the Offline Usenet Interface message reader. It is both an online retrieval system for newsgroup postings and for your POP3 email server. OUI gets you off to a fast start with a setup routine that searches for an existing Winsock installation and retrieves your user information from it. Online, it is equally speedy and allows a two-pass system for retrieving headers first, selected messages later: both functions launched from a handsome interface. It can automatically UUdecode most graphic images to their proper filenames. OUI also offers WAV-file sound support for many of its actions, so you don't have to watch the screen constantly. This download expires a month from installation; the release version is priced at $49.

Secret Agent v1.11

Secret Agent is an off-line Netscape browser. It gives you off-line access to all the information Netscape saves online in its disk cache. After an online session you close down the link to your service provider and revisit, off-line, all the pages you accessed during your session, complete with graphics and working links between accessed pages. You can sort the sites by URL or by access. Dump any cache when you're done viewing the files. The automatic setup, toolbar, and pull-down menus make this program easy to use. There is online help available.

Unmozify Cache Manager v5.3

If you know that the insider's nickname for Netscape Navigator is Mozilla, then the product name UnMozify Cache Manager will make sense. UnMozify lets you manipulate the files stored in the browser's cache in almost any way you want, offering a full index of the cache contents. Previous versions of this product worked with MOZ files common to Navigator 1.2x. This update handles the cache created by the Navigator 2.x series, using the browser itself for viewing information and images. It's a slick, cool process. A 16-bit version is also available.
